Your Word Is A Lamp For My Feet, A Light On My Path - Psalm 119:105

Psalm 119:105 NIV “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”

This scripture tells us what the word of God is and does. A lamp provides light and illuminates. In other words, the word of God provides the insights for us to see things clearly and helps us have the right perspective on things. It also shows and guides us along the right path.

How and when does this happen? This happens when we create a habit of reading and internalising (meditating, speaking the word to ourself, thinking of and ruminating) the word. When we do this, when something is said or something happens our mind will automatically go to the word inside of us to draw strength, a counter argument or perspective or divine guidance.

This is science, the automations happens in the same way that picking up a fork to eat happens (embedded in our unconscious).
